Gravy Momos

    Chicken Momos
  • 2 tbsp
    Cooking Oil
  • 1
    Chopped Onion
  • 2 pods- mince
    Garlic
  • 1 tbsp
    Ginger
  • 1 cup
    Tomato Puree
  • 1 chopped
    Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp
    Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    Garam Masala
  • 1/4 tsp
    Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp
    Coriander Powder
  • 1 cup
    Chopped Coriander
  • as per taste
    Salt
  • 1 cup
    Water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water – for thickening
    Cornstarch Slurry
Directions
  • Cook the Momos

    Steam the Golden Fresh Momos as per packet instructions until heated through. Set aside.

  • Prepare the Gravy
    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

    • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden.

    • Add minced garlic, ginger, and green chili (if using); cook 1–2 minutes.

    • Stir in tomato puree and cook 4–5 minutes until oil separates.

     

    • Add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

  • Add Liquid & Thicken
    • Pour in water or broth and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

     

    • Slowly add the cornstarch slurry while stirring until the gravy thickens.

  • Combine Momos & Gravy
    • Gently add steamed momos into the gravy, coating them well.

     

    • Simmer 2–3 minutes so the momos absorb the flavors.

  • Garnish & Serve
    • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

    • Serve hot as an appetizer or main dish, with steamed rice or noodles if desired.
