Start your day with these hearty Crispy Chicken & Melted Mozzarella Breakfast Buns! Featuring tender, crispy chicken fillets nestled in soft cornmeal buns with gooey mozzarella, it's an easy and satisfying GCC-inspired breakfast ready in under 45 minutes.

Pat the frozen Chicken Zinger Fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat about 2 cups of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 175°C (350°F).

Carefully place the seasoned chicken fillets into the hot oil. Fry for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 74°C or 165°F). Remove from oil and place on a wire rack lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

While the chicken fries, slice the Mozzarella Cheese Block into thin slices, enough to cover two chicken fillets. Lightly toast the Cornmeal Buns in a toaster or a dry pan until warm and slightly golden.

Immediately place a few slices of mozzarella cheese on top of each hot, crispy chicken fillet. The residual heat will start to melt the cheese. For extra meltiness, you can briefly place the fillets under a broiler or cover them in a warm pan for 1-2 minutes until cheese is gooey.

Carefully slice each toasted Cornmeal Bun horizontally. Place one cheese-topped crispy chicken fillet onto the bottom half of each bun. Cover with the top half of the bun.
