Arabic Chicken Kabsa

  • 500 g
    Golden Fresh Chicken Mix Cut
  • 2 cups
    Basmati Rice
  • 2 medium
    Chopped Tomato
  • 1 large
    Chopped Onion
  • 4 cloves -minced
    Garlic
  • 1 tbsp
    Ginger
  • 3 tbsp
    Cooking Oil
  • 4 cups
    Water
  • 1 pc
    Bay Leaf
  • 3 pods
    cardamom
  • 3 pcs
    Cloves
  • 1 small stick
    Cinnamon
  • 5-6 pcs
    Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp
    Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp
    Red Chilli Powder
  • -to taste
    Salt
  • for garnish
    Coriander
Directions
  • Sauté Aromatics
    • Heat oil in a deep pot.

    • Add whole spices and sauté until fragrant.

     

    • Add chopped onions and cook until golden.

  • Cook the Chicken
    • Add garlic and ginger; sauté briefly.

    • Add Golden Fresh Chicken Mix Cut and cook until lightly browned.

    • Add tomatoes, turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, and salt.

     

    • Cook until oil separates and masala thickens.

  • Prepare the Stock
    • Add water.

    • Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until chicken is tender.

  • Add Rice
    • Remove chicken pieces and keep aside.

    • Add soaked rice to the same pot with the stock.

     

    • Adjust salt if needed.

  • Final Cook
    • Place chicken back on top of rice.

     

    • Cover and cook on low heat for 15–18 minutes until rice is fluffy.

  • Serve
    • Gently fluff rice.

    • Garnish with nuts and raisins if desired.

    • Serve hot with salad, yogurt, or Arabic salsa.
